Brief:

Ecuador Tourism tasked Green Team with developing its first North American tourism campaign. Aside from the Galapagos Islands, not much was known about Ecuador’s other regions, especially as a tourist destination. The tourism infrastructure was not well established, but was looking to be developed in a sustainable manner.

 

Strategic thinking:

Strategically we felt that by speaking to the fragile nature of some of Ecuador's natural and cultural attractions we could mitigate tourist infrastructure concerns, whilst offering a glimpse into an authentic Ecuadorian travel adventure!

 

Creative:

The campaign featured a topographical cross section, identifying the country’s four most distinct regions all brought to life with breathtaking imagery shot on location. The ATL campaign was then supported by a digital hub, sharing amazing stories of adventures to be had.

 

Results:

The campaign resulted in a number of alliances, forged around the development of sustainable infrastructure on the island including the Rainforest Alliance.
