Purpose Branding, Social Impact
Brief:
The award winning eco-tourism operator of both Bruny Island Charters and Tasman Island Cruises in Hobart, Tasmania, approached Green Team to develop a new brand name and identity.
Strategic thinking:
Inspired by Robert Pennicott- tourism entrepreneur, environmental ambassador and founder, our strategic approach was to use Robert to personify the new brand. Weaving Robert's own life story into our brand story, Pennicott Wilderness Journeys was born. Strong sub-identities for both Bruny and Tasman Island Cruises were then rationalised and applied to brochures, signage and point of sale material.
Creative:
Along with delivering creative across all touch points, Green Team also created the 'Follow The Yellow Boat Road' engagement platform as both a reference point for Robert's trademark yellow boats and a communication platform that documented his circumnavigation around Australia.
The Results:
Following our work with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, they have since gone on to win the prestigious 'Best Australian Eco-Tourism Attraction' award.
